Ibiraci is a municipality located in the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is situated in the region known as Alta Mogiana, which we discussed earlier as a coffee-producing area.

Cocapil is a cooperative formed by small and medium-sized specialty coffee producers. Founded in 2001 by Laerce Faleiros togethter with other producers, the cooperative has contributed to the development of the region and the production of specialty coffee, today recognized in Brazil and worlwide for their varieties, characteristics of their coffees and specially for their producers who spare no effort to produce a really special coffee.
