Finca Buenos Aires is located in the mountains pertaining to the municipality of Neiva, the capital of the department of Huila and run by Octavio Cardoso. Neiva itself ate an elevation of 500 m.a.s.l. is sweltering hot, but the farm sits at an elevation of approximately 1,650 m.a.s.l. enjoying a pleasant climate. It consists of 6 hectares in total.

This particular lot is made up of Tabi, but Octavio also grows Caturra, Colombia and Castillo. The coffee is fermented for 24/48 hours, meaning the first lot is de-pulped and the pickings from the next day are mixed on top of that lot, offering the first lot 48 hours of fermentation and the second lot, 24 hours of fermentation. We met Octavio through our buying station in Santa Maria and we are looking forward to future harvests!
