The cherries that contributed to this lot come from La Union Santa Rosa, in the region of Huabal. Located one hour and twenty minutes from Jaén, José Alexander Gonzales’ farm sits at an altitude of 1,850 meters above sea level. Covering a total area of four hectares, the farm is divided into two sections—one accessible by car and the other reachable only by foot or motorcycle.

In addition to coffee production, José and other local producers engage in diverse economic activities, including honey production and various city jobs, such as construction work and taxi driving, to support their families and maintain their livelihoods.
