Arabica coffee is planted in specific 8ft by 8ft spacing with each sapling in 2x2x2 feet pits filled with manure. Shade trees are crucial for temperature regulation and nutrient cycling. Drip irrigation from the Gelana river sustains the farm. Pruning is done to encourage branching for higher yields. Continuous maintenance includes de-suckering and soil testing for optimal growth. Only ripe cherries are harvested and promptly dried to maintain quality.
