Kochere is a district which is in relation to the surrounding regions at a slightly lower altitude ranging 1.700 – 1.900 Meters above sea level. About 1435 farmers are producing coffee on their plots in a natural surrounding protected by shade trees and deliver them to the Bonde washing station which was established in 2010. Here the processsing and drying is done under supervision of skilled field officers before the beans are delivered to the dry mill for further processing before export.
