This coffee is produced by CAUFUL, (Cooperative Agropecuaria Unión y Fuerza Ltda), a Fairtrade Certified Organization in Las Limas, La Paz, Honduras. CAUFUL, which has around 70 members, was formed in 1975 in connection with its agricultural reforms.

The area located on the border between Montecillos and Comayagua has a dominant cultivation of Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuai.
