Harvest , Post-Harvest & Processing
Kenzu Ahmed is the Station Manager for Hambella 1&2 Stations. Both stations owned by Tracon Trading are located in the Deri Kidame area located in the Wamena district of Hambella. Kenzu has been working in the Hambella area for 3 years now and has been sourcing his coffees very carefully. He only chooses farmers and red cherry suppliers who bring high quality cherry from experience.
This station produces very complex natural coffees due to the red brown soil that is very fertile but also the high altitude levels making the coffees mature slowly and less cherries coming out per tree compared to lower altitude growing regions.
